Open the coconut. Drain the coconut water. Drink it.

While in India, we were offered fresh lime drink wherever we went. It was simple but highly refreshing.
The best thing is that limes fall under the alkaline category on this chart, and I need more alkaline in my diet: acid vs. alkaline chart

Ingredients [yields 2 drinks]
Lime, one squeezed
Simple Syrup, 2 teaspoons
Water, room temperature, 300-400 ml

Pour half of the lime juice into each glass. Add half the water to each glass. Stir in 1 teaspoon of simple sugar per glass.

Drink up!


A refreshing drink comprised of soy milk, ice, a cinnamon stick and cinnamon powder on top.
I hear almond milk is a healthy choice of drink, but I’ve yet to try out due to my allergies to almonds. I’m going to give it a try, one day!
