I’m experimenting with adding more alkaline foods into my diet. See chart: acid-alkaline-food-chart.
I decided to start with gourds. I was at T&T grocery store and they had Mo Qua (Fuzzy Melon) available, so I bought one.
I had no idea how to cook with it. I peeled it, chopped it, and threw it in a pan with a bit of light & mushroom flavored soy sauce.
I know that the Mo Qua is close to tasteless and soaks in surrounding flavors very easily.
It was pleasant to eat, but I’m sure there are some tried & trued ways to cook with it. Anybody have any recipes?
